Lake Hylia

Upon reaching Lake Hylia you will see a letter at the bottom of the lake. Pick this up and head east of the lake and you should see a door. You will see a guy at the counter and tell him you like to do a little fishing. This will cost you 20 Rupees.

To fish, go to the water and use the L/Z button to look at a fish. Use the B button to cast your line and A to break the line. Use the analog stick to wiggle the lure and use the A and R buttons to reel it in. Press the A button and Down when you get a bite.

What you want to do is find the biggest fish in the pond. More often than not that fish could be found at the middle part of the lake, by some logs. Put your efforts to catching this particular fish. Once achieved, go back to the guy at the counter, who will reward you with a Piece of Heart for catching a 10 pound fish!

Now leave the pond and swim north and look for 2 scarecrows. Stand in front of the lower scarecrow and now it is time to play your Ocarina. Play and remember any 8 notes, and the scarecrow with memorize this and you will have to play it exactly the same later on. If you want to change your tune, just stand in front of the scarecrow and do the same thing again.

Now look at your map. You will see a bridge over the water. This is where you’ll be heading. Go to the building and begin to cross the bridge. You’ll come across an owl in the middle of the bridge, just ignore this and continue crossing the bridge, heading south east. Upon reaching the tree, look east and you will see a small island with 2 pillars. Swim to this island. In case it isn’t night time now, you will have to play the Sun’s Song. At night a Skulltula shows up on one of the pillars. Kill it and get a Gold Skulltula. Now head north of Lake Hylia and go out to Hyrule Field. You should see a ladder on your left. Jump down on the other side of the field and head westward and enter Gerudo Valley. 21. Gerudo Valley
