Flute Sculpture
This piece is called "The Muse", from a flute sculpture by world renowned artist Jonathen Bickart. This instrument has an unusually rich tone due to the interior shape of the sculpture. Great attention and affection is given to the visual, tactile, and auditory elements of this instrument. This ocarina has 10 holes and plays an octave +4 from D4 - G5. The material is porcelain with an ivory satin glaze. The tone is very rich and warm, with a wide envelope of dynamic range. There is no other instrument like her! The Dove Ocarina has 5 holes and plays 1 octave +1, including all the sharps and flats. It has a warm and rich tone, similar to the cooing of doves. The Songbook/Tutorial of the pendant style ocarinas is included.
